The Canadian Association of Nuclear Medicine has established awards to recognize and support, nuclear medicine specialists, residents and medical students.

Continuing Professional Development

The CANM offers activities to help meet your educational needs and to obtain accredited CPD hours. 

  • CANM’s Annual Meeting offers excellent symposia, poster sessions, exhibits, networking opportunities and social interaction. CANM members and residents benefit from reduced conference registration fees. Please click here for more information on the next CANM Annual Meeting. 
  • CANM is an accredited provider under the Maintenance of Certification program. All CANM meetings are approved for CPD credits. If you have a program requiring CPD approval, please contact the CANM Office or visit the CANM website for MOC information and application.

  • A section on 'Careers' offers you various postings from across the country.
  • If you have a job opening, you may advertise this on the CANM website. For more information, please contact the CANM office.
  • A Calendar of Events helps you plan your educational events. 
Support of Residents
  • The CANM encourages residents to consider the field of general Nuclear Medicine. Resident Membership in the Association is FREE.
Liaisons with other Societies

·       CANM is reaching out to similar organizations, such as the European Association of Nuclear Medicine (EANM), the Society of Nuclear Medicine (SNM) and the World Federation of Nuclear Medicine and Biology (WFNMB).
